چکیده
We prove an algebraic version of the Gauge-Invariant Uniqueness Theorem, a result which gives information about the injectivity of certain homomorphisms between Z-graded algebras. As our main application of this theorem, we obtain isomorphisms between the Leavitt path algebras of specified graphs. From these isomorphisms we are able to achieve two ends. First, we show that the K 0 groups of various sets of purely infinite simple Leavitt path algebras, together with the position of the identity element in K 0 , classifies the algebras in these sets up to isomorphism. Second, we show that many of the isomorphisms between matrix rings over the classical Leavitt algebras, established previously using number-theoretic methods, can be reobtained via appropriate isomorphisms between Leavitt path algebras.

Flow Invariants in the Classification of Leavitt Path Algebras
We analyze in the context of Leavitt path algebras some graph operations introduced in the context of symbolic dynamics by Williams, Parry and Sullivan, and Franks. We show that these operations induce Morita equivalence of the corresponding Leavitt path algebras. As a consequence we obtain our two main results: the first gives sufficient conditions for which the Leavitt path algebras in a cert...

We give the classification of (co-)path Hopf algebras and semi-path Hopf algebras with pointed module structures. This leads to the classification of multiple crown algebras and multiple Taft algebras as well as pointed Yetter-Drinfeld kG-modules and the corresponding Nichols algebras. Moreover, we characterize quantum enveloping algebras in terms of semi-path Hopf algebras.

Let K be any field, let L n denote the Leavitt algebra of type (1, n − 1) having coefficients in K, and let M d (L n) denote the ring of d × d matrices over L n. In our main result, we show that M d (L n) ∼ = L n if and only if d and n − 1 are coprime. We use this isomorphism to answer a question posed in [14] regarding isomorphisms between various C*-algebras. Furthermore, our result demonstra...
متن کاملThe Leavitt path algebras of arbitrary graphs
We extend the notion of the Leavitt path algebra of a graph E to include all directed graphs. We show how various ring-theoretic properties of these more general structures relate to the corresponding properties of Leavitt path algebras of row-finite graphs. Specifically, we identify those graphs for which the corresponding Leavitt path algebra is simple; purely infinite simple; exchange; and s...
